meet the parents day. how secondary schoolish~ hahaz

today was meet the parents day. weird having to bring along ur parents to meet ur teachers. well anyway, mine went well suprisingly. Told my parents the results while driving to school. talk about last minute. hahaz. So anyway, i was scheduled as the second appointment. Had to wait for Charmaine's parents to be done talkin to maxxie for more than 15 minutes. 0_0" but id say she got a dad with one cool hairdo. hahaz. (he had dis ponytail, like the guy in the HP advertisement for nanotechnology) When it was my turn, maxxie said the usual stuffs... how i was supposedly a bright kid, but not focused. But he did include that i was playful and get distracted easily in class. (dats so true. =p) anyway my result slip had the comment that went something like:

Remarks: Hilmi is a very intelligent student but unfortunately his grades do not reflect his true ability. He must put in a lot more effort to improve on his grades in time for his A level Exams.

and u wonder how the teachers can crap out praiseful comments for more than 20 students, when i find it hard to write my own testimonial. hahaz.

anyway, my parents did lecture me on why diamonds should be polished to sparkle and stuffs. but i guess they didnt know that im somewhat a different kind of diamond. i hate having to compete with the other "diamonds" out there... just to be used and showcased by the wearer (the spore govt in this case...) i don't learn for the sake of learning... i want to learn for my own sake... the desire to know more. So mebbe that's why i might consider gg overseas, where hopefully i can get away from all the chao muggers. =\ but mebbe i wont, cos id rather study hard and let my parents give that chance to my other siblings. (bro's mebbe gona need it more den i do...and i'll go head on with those study freaks~ hahahhaz.)

okae. nuff bout dissing the education system. im gona go chill awhile. den ill see if i wana hit the books...~ have a good weekend pple!
