very much need update
heys. whuddya noe, this blog still lives...
anyways, sorry for abandoning my blog for around 5 weeks now. Been busy trying to adjust to a new kind of lifestyle. NS life is tough alright, but im beginning to get used to it.... (henceforth the word "regimental" kind of lifestyle...)
So yeah, i suppose i shan't bore you with the usual army stuffs. Let me just share some insights ive gained so far...
1. im more appreciative of every single aspect of civilian life. (For example, cursing whenever you forget to tap ur ez-link card when alighting a bus)
2. Mats and Minahs respect you for having little hair. (had 2 experiences at a fast food outlet where they willingly let me order first...)
3. i guess it pays to have a reason to be in NS, be it your family or girlfriend. (its your source of motivation most of the time in camp...)
4. FHM and Maxim are the accepted forms of reading material in camp (and i had this platoonmate who actually charged 40cent/hr for borrowing his issue)
5. how ironic for Tekong to have the most beautiful sights in S'pore (you ought to catch the night sky, the sunset and the clear blue skies...)
6. u feel this sense of achievement whenever you collect your hand-washed and dried undergarments from the clothes line...
7. and yeah, i don't wish to keep tabs on how many times ive seen another man's lil brother and ass.
So i guess there's plenty more of where that came from. Anyway, my field camp's next monday so if it aint too much to ask, do pray that i survive this 7 day hell camp. tsk. Other than that, till next time~ ciaoz.
