the family way.
just finished reading the family way by tony parsons. realised i'm drawn to such books.
the complexity of human relationships.
wished i truly understood the reasons for a marriage breaking down. that sudden conclusion to years of matrimony. how i still find it ludicrous for someone to say, "i don't love you anymore". how men can easily and foolishly choose a one night stand over a wonderful family they tiringly and tryingly had to build.
and im worried that i might grow up to be just that. the witless men club.
anw, that's not really a synopsis of the book, but i suppose you should go read it too. :)
and on a slightly lighter note, i almost got into an auto accident; side-on collision at a four-way junction. im grateful that the other car was screaming red in colour, grateful that i instinctively slammed down the accelerator, just grateful that i would not be entangled in some mess/mass of aluminium and steel.
and in the midst of it all, i thought of you.
