in-laws are not outlaws.

Its tough maintaining a good relationship with your inlaws. And you dont have to be married to know that.

My grandma who's my dad's adoptive mother, lives with us. Its safe to say she's nearing 70 years old. I love my mom, grandma and the rest of the family. But sometimes i feel my grandma deserves better treatment.

She's starting to show signs of ageing; joint pains, greying hair, forgetfulness. I feel my dad isnt the only one responsible for her. Everyone has a part. So if she's having difficulty carrying loads, there's my brother and me. My sister helps out with the laundry. And my parents support her financially.

But lately, she's forgetting where she puts her things. I dont blame her. Its the natural order of things.

Apoptosis can occur as a normal process to destroy old cells so new ones can be made, or due to disease, infection, damaged DNA or other illnesses."

Its just, sometimes i wished my mom would go easier on her. And when i voice my concerns, im worried i hurt her feelings. I understand that grandma sometimes steps on our foot, but that doesnt mean we can't change to accommodate her. Ageing is an inevitable part of life.

I always believed what goes around comes around. All i want is for mom to love grandma the way my dad does.

And in return, im hoping you'll be loved by my future spouse as much as i do.
